What a fabulous bank holiday Monday we had. We were delighted to be a sponsor of one of the races at the Jessie May Trust Family Day at Bath Races. It was the first time they have hosted this event and with all the hard work of the Jessie May team and the staff at Bath Race Course, it really was a fabulous day.
Jessie May are a Bristol based charity providing, palliative, end of life & bereavement care for terminally ill children & their families in the Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire areas and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of their day.
We were so lucky, after a week of very unsettled weather, the day kept fine for us, up until the last race when we had a splattering of rain. Still, it didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone and we all and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. A special treat for the children was meeting Elsa and Anna from Frozen and Peppa Pig, who made appearances throughout the day.
